The Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Audit Office of Lithuania

Within the framework of the XXIV International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee Natalya Godunova signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Audit Office of Lithuania.

Natalya Godunova noted in her speech that "The long-term experience of the Office of the National Audit of the Republic of Lithuania, as an active member of the international audit communities, an institution that successfully carries out state audit, is very important for us."

In turn, the Auditor General of Lithuania, Mr. Mindaugas Macijauskas, supported the initiative of the Accounts Committee on the mutual exchange of experience and training and offered to exchange experience in the field of social audit, audit of kindergartens and schools, as well as the exchange of audit methodology.

Also, the National Audit Office supported the initiative of the Accounts Committee in conducting peers reviews, and holding seminars for state auditors of the Accounts Committee in the coming years.
