The delegation of the Accounts Committee headed by the Chairwoman participates in the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions

The delegation of the Accounts Committee participates in the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) in Rio de Janeiro, organized by the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts.

During the event, the Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee Natalya Godunova held a bilateral meeting with the President of the State Audit Office of Kuwait, Mr. Faisal Fahad Alshaya.

Natalya Godunova spoke about the ongoing reform of the state audit system in Kazakhstan and the constitutional amendments adopted at the Referendum to change the status of the Accounts Committee and transform it into the Supreme Audit Chamber.

Following a bilateral meeting with the Supreme Audit Institution of Kuwait, an agreement to intensify cooperation was reached by developing a joint action plan for 2023-2024. It is planned to conduct a parallel audit in the field of education and other areas of SAIs interest.

At the same time, the issues of training and professional development of state auditors and the exchange of methodological documents, as well as the exchange of lecturers in the field of audit were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee expressed confidence in the fruitful development of cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions of Kazakhstan and Kuwait.
