Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee met with the Commissioners of Thailand

Within the framework of the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) in Brazil, Natalya Godunova, Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee for Control over the Execution of the Republican Budget, held a bilateral meeting with the Commissioners of Thailand, Mrs. Yupin Сhalanonniwat and Mr. Orapin Phonsuwan Sabyeroop.

During the meeting, in her speech Natalya Godunova noted a special interest in the experience of the Supreme Audit Institution of Thailand, as an active member of INTOSAI, ASOSAI and the institution that successfully carries out state audit.

The SAI of Thailand supported the proposal of the Accounts Committee on the mutual exchange of experience and training in the field of IT audit and financial audit.

The parties agreed to invite highly qualified experts of the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand, and the Institute for Research and Training of Auditors, operating under the Office, as lecturers for the Accounts Committee staff.

At the same time, following the results of the bilateral meeting, an agreement on activation of international relations was reached through the future signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.
