INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «THE SYSTEM OF PUBLIC AUDIT IN THE CONTEXT OF A NEW HISTORICAL REALITY»

The Accounts Committee for Control over the Execution of the Republican Budget is holding an international scientific and practical conference  «The system of public audit in the context of a new historical reality» dedicated to the significant date - the 25th anniversary of the Accounts Committee on 10 September , 2021 online format. 

Heads of 22 countries of the Supreme Audit Institutions, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international organizations INTOSAI, EUROSAI, ASOSAI, ECOSAI, UNDP, ADB, BIG 4 and higher educational institutions are invited to the event.

Within the conference, a Plenary session is planned, moderated by the Chairwoman of the Accounts Committee - Natalya Godunova.

The work of the conference consists of six sections:

- Modern aspects of increasing the role of external public auditing bodies in the era of globalization and modernization of economics in Kazakhstan;

- Current issues of public auditing in the context of informatization in the economics;

- The role of SAIs in emergency audit and COVID-19 challenges;

- The role of SAIs in managing performance and achieving the Sustainable development goals of national economies;

- Professionalization of auditors and current issues of personnel training in the field of pubic auditing;

- Interaction of internal and external audit in improving the efficiency of public administration.
