The Majilis approved the draft law on improving the budget legislation in the first reading

 At the recent plenary session, the deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved in the first reading the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to certain legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improving budget legislation".

This draft law aims to ensure transparent and effective budget planning of expenditures at all levels, as well as to determine their social and economic impact.

The draft Law takes into account the recommendations of the Accounts Committee, including on the return to the relevant budget of the amounts of the target transfer that were not used for the purposes defined by the legislation no later than 3 months after the issuance of the order of the state audit and financial control bodies.
