Nurlan Nogayev held a meeting on electric power industry development

Minister of energy of Kazakhstan visited the national Kazakhstan company on management of electric networks KEGOC JSC, got acquainted with the work of the enterprise and held a meeting on issues of development of electric power industry, the press service of ME RK reports.

KEGOC JSC is a system operator that performs centralized operational and dispatching control, provides parallel operation with power systems of other States, maintains the balance in the power system, provides system services and purchases auxiliary services from electric energy market entities, as well as transfers of electric energy through the national electric network, its technical maintenance and maintenance in operational readiness.

Nurlan Nogayev got acquainted with the work of the national dispatching center of the system operator, and also held a meeting on development of the electric power industry.

Chairman of the Board of KEGOC Bakytzhan Kazhiev informed the Minister about the current state of the power industry in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, reports were heard about the results of KEGOC JSC's work, implemented and ongoing projects to strengthen the National electric network, as well as the company's future projects.

The Minister was also provided with information about the activities of "Settlement and financial center for support of renewable energy sources" LLP in the renewable energy sector and in the capacity market, a detailed analysis of these segments of the electricity market was provided.   

Following the meeting, the Minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave a number of specific instructions to authorized persons.
