The Chairman of the Committee for nuclear and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan appointed

Shangitbaev Abay Mukhtarovich was appointed as Chairman of the Committee for atomic and energy supervision and control by order of the Minister of energy , the press service of ME RK announced.

Abay Shangitbayev graduated from the faculty of Automation and control systems of Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V. I. Lenin, qualification-electrical engineer.

He started his career in 1988 as an electrician, as an engineer of relay protection and automation services in the southern enterprise of electric networks of  "Zapkazenergo".

1991 - engineer of relay protection, automation and measurement of the Eastern enterprise of electric networks "Zapkazenergo".

1999 - inspector of the energy Inspectorate 'GosEnergoNadzor' of the Ministry of energy and coal industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2004 - inspector of the Sales Department, the head of the Khromtau district section of power grids of JSC "Aktobeenergo" (2004).

2013 - head of Khromtau RES, Deputy head of production and technical service, head of production and technical service of Energosystem LLP.

2015 - senior expert of the Department of monitoring, coordination of territorial divisions and work with appeals of individuals and legal entities, head of the Department for supervision and control of electric networks and electrical installations of consumers of the State energy supervision and control Committee of the Ministry of industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2015 - Deputy Director of the Department of electric power of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2016-head of the territorial Department of the Committee for nuclear and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.

From November 2016 to the present - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for nuclear and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Honorary titles and state awards :

Kazakhstan electric power Association "Kurmetti Energetik" (2011).

Honored power engineer of CIS (2016).

Medal "10 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2002).
