KEGOC JSC issued recommendations on timely notification of technological violations

The Committee for nuclear and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an investigation about technological violation that occurred on February 9, 2020.

Unfavorable weather conditions in the area of SS-500 kV "YuKGRES", a strong dust storm with a wind speed of more than 30 m/s caused a technological disruption. As a result, there was a restriction of electric energy in Almaty, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions.

Based on the results of the investigation, the Commission issued KEGOC JSC an organizational and technical measures for timely notification of the state energy supervision and control body about such technological violations.
