More than 135 thousand citizens of Kazakhstan were employed through the electronic labor exchange in 2019

Digital transformation of the Ministry of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan was discussed at the Day of digitalization in Astana Hub on Friday, May 17.

The event was attended by Minister of labor and social protection of population of RK Berdibek Saparbayev, Minister of digital development, defense and aerospace industry of RK Askar Zhumagaliyev, Vice-Ministers of labor and social protection Nariman Mukushev, healthcare Olzhas Abishev, Vice-Minister of Finance Ruslan Ensebayev, Vice-Minister of education and science Rustem Bigari, as well as representatives of the business environment.

Opening the event, B. Saparbayev noted that digitalization has become one of the key factors of modernization of the social and labor sphere.

"Digital technologies are an important tool for providing social assistance. Behind each assigned benefit, employed person and each state service there is a well-coordinated work of the information systems of the Ministry, because the main purpose of digitalization is to simplify administrative procedures, ensure maximum transparency and availability of state services for citizens," the head of the department said.

At the same time, he stressed that the services of the Ministry of labor under the influence of digitalization continue to change actively. One of the important areas is Big Data, on the basis of which the analysis for effective decision-making is already being formed.

At the same time, from the second half of this year it is planned to further scale up the service for the establishment of disability by correspondence, in the same time it is planned to launch the portal of "Social services", which will provide an independent choice of technical means of rehabilitation, taking into account individual needs, reduce the terms of their provision and increase the level of satisfaction of persons with disabilities.

Since January 1, 2018, the first digital platform and the largest bank of vacancies and resumes in the country - the Electronic labor exchange have been operating in the republic. Since the start of the Exchange 985 thousand vacancies and 732 thousand resume were posted. With the help of the labor Exchange, more than 135 thousand citizens have been employed since the beginning of 2019. This year, it is planned to further develop this system: implementation of the map of jobs created, online training, the introduction of a virtual consultant and more.

Work will continue on the introduction of electronic contracts, the development of electronic database "E-Halyk", which is already connected to 100% of rural districts, will continue to update data on the availability of facilities for people with disabilities on the portal "Accessible environment".

In general, about 939 million KZT was saved due to electronic and proactive state services in 2018. Also achieved significant time savings service providers and citizens in the aggregate about 340 thousand days.

The event was a constructive exchange of views between participants, representatives of the business environment and officials.
