Payments of the updated ASA will be continued on a regular basis - Saparbayev

On Saturday, May 4, Minister of labor and social protection of the population of RK Berdibek Saparbayev informed about the work carried out in the framework of the implementation of social initiatives of the First President - Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk". B. Saparbayev assured that the implementation of social measures will be continued on a regular basis. The information that updated the payment of address social assistance will be terminated in a short time, is not true.

"In general, 2 trillion 200 billion KZT is provided for the implementation of "Aleumettik kamkorlyk" in the republic for 3 years, including only 320 billion KZT for receiving address social assistance. To date, we have provided funding to all regions, mainly 130 billion KZT – is the national budget, of which about 19 billion – the local budget", - said the Minister during the round table on the implementation of social measures of Elbasy.

The Ministry has also developed a single package of social assistance and services that will be provided to low-income families by local executive bodies. The social package includes 11 measures of social support and social services at the expense of the local executive body.

It is planned that in 2019, at the expense of local executive bodies, about 821 thousand citizens of Kazakhstan will receive social support in the amount of 83 billion KZT. The head of the Ministry of labor added that sponsors are actively involved in the work to help low-income families.

Since April 1, the reception of documents for the provision of Address social assistance in the new format is held. As of the morning of May 4, address social assistance of the updated format has been paid to 131 315 families.

The Minister cited the example of a family in Nur-Sultan, where the father works and receives 73 954 thousand KZT, the mother was awarded with pendants "Altyn Alka" and "Kumis Alka" - 16 160 thousand KZT. The family has 7 children. The size of the ASA for a family is 26 710 for adults and 151 004 KZT for children. The result is that the family income of 267 828 per month that is 2 million 132 thousand KZT per year.   

At the same time, changes are made to the State program of development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship "Enbek". So, to ensure employment and income growth, villagers with many children will be provided with irrevocable state grants for new business ideas in the amount of 505 thousand KZT. Also this year, 5 thousand microcredits will be directed to the development of entrepreneurship among mothers with many children and persons with disabilities in rural areas.

In addition, short-term training in popular professions will be organized for large low-income rural families. For certain types of work, social jobs will be created at home with wage subsidies.
