Meeting with large and low-income families of Saryarka and Yessil districts of Nur Sultan

Minister of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev and akim of Nur-Sultan Bakhyt Sultanov held meetings with low-income and large families of Saryarka and Yessil districts on April 23 and 24.

The meetings were also attended by Vice-Ministers of health care L. Aktaeva, education and science E. Sukhanberdieva, Chairman of the Committee on affairs of construction and HCS of MIID RK M. Zhaiymbetov.

Head of the Ministry of labor reminded that in the framework of the initiatives of the First President - Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk" since June 1 this year the salary of 1.1 million civil servants will increase to 30 percent.

Since April 1, reception of documents for the provision of Address social assistance in the new format is carried out, which this year is planned to cover more than 830 thousand people. In particular, in Saryarka district, the number of ASA recipients will increase from 1,516 to 2,211 people, in Yessil district from 506 to 737 people. In general, about 7 thousand people will be the recipients of the updated ASA in Nur-Sultan.

In addition, with the help of the information system "E-halyk" greatly simplified the procedure for submitting documents to the ASA. An identity card and an application form are required to receive the allowance. In the absence of necessary information in the system, employees of Employment centers or akims issue a written request to the relevant state bodies. In this case, the applicant himself has the right to provide necessary documents.

At the same time, changes are made to the State program of development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship "Enbek". So, in order to ensure employment and income growth, villagers with many children will be provided with irrevocable state grants for new business ideas in the amount of 505 thousand KZT. Also this year, 5 thousand microcredits will be directed to the development of entrepreneurship among mothers with many children and persons with disabilities in rural areas.

In addition, short-term training in popular professions will be organized for large low-income rural families. For certain types of work, social jobs will be created at home with wage subsidies.

The Ministry has also developed a unified package of social assistance and services that will be provided to low-income families by local executive bodies. The social package includes 11 measures of social support and social services at the expense of the local executive body.

The Minister stressed that employable citizens should not do nothing, relying only on the support of the state, and should work and improve their well-being.

"I myself grew up in a large family. Since youth we worked not to "sit on the neck of parents." I studied very well, therefore, received a higher scholarship, after graduation, worked as a loader, unloading crates of vegetables. For some reason now some men do not work. They say there is no work, and when they are offered a job, they refuse. The younger generation should be taught to work from childhood," he said.

Concluding his speech, Berdibek Saparbayev noted that the initiatives of Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk" have a complex nature, are associated with long-term goals aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.
