More than 18 thousand people applied for an updated ASA on the first day of receiving applications

In the framework of the implementation of social measures of Elbasy "Aleumettik kamkorlyk" since April 1 this year, the reception of documents for obtaining updated address social assistance (ASA) began. Applications for appointment of ASA are accepted in employment centers, population service centers, as well as in rural akimats. 

On the first day, 18,137 people applied for consultations on the appointment of address social assistance, including 11,220 people who submitted the relevant applications. The largest number of applicants was registered in Almaty - 2712, Karaganda – 2086, Turkestan - 1800. The smallest number of people turned to Mangystau region – 70.

In addition, the local executive bodies updated the data of 40 805 families, which will recalculate the previously assigned amounts of ASA.

In order to ensure the quality of execution of orders of the First President of RK – Elbasy, employees of the Ministry of labor and social protection of the population of RK went to the regions to provide local advice on the appointment and payment of ASA.

At the same time, the Ministry of labor and social protection of population of RK reminds that address social assistance is assigned from the month of application and does not depend on the day of application.

We remind, according to the order of the Elbasy, in Kazakhstan from April 1 this year, the criterion for the provision of ASA increased from 50% to 70% of the subsistence minimum, amounting to 20 789 KZT. As a result, the number of beneficiaries will increase from 571.6 thousand people to more than 830 thousand people. At the same time, if the average size of the ASA for each family member was previously 4 834 KZT, then from the next month 20 789 KZT will be paid for each child.
