Online service to view the independent ranking of universities and colleges of the country on 6 different criteria has been launched in Kazakhstan. High school students, parents, students will have free access to information about the success of educational institutions in terms of demand for their graduates in the labor market, the level of employment and wages. On the website of the Electronic labor exchange, each user has the opportunity to choose the most effective university or college in the context of the whole of Kazakhstan, a certain region, a particular specialty or a specific direction.

The rating was compiled by specialists of "Center for labor resources development" JSC in December 2018 by order of the Ministry of labor and social protection of population. The choice of the best and the worst educational institutions was made not on the basis of surveys, but on the specific results of employment of graduates, their level of salary, stability of work. This makes the rating objective and independent. In comparison, the data used were almost 200 thousand graduates of 101 universities and more than 300 thousand graduates of 766 colleges of the country who graduated in 2015-2017.
