Head of the Ministry of labour Berdibek Saparbayev met with representatives of the initiative groups on issues of improving the quality of life of citizens of Kazakhstan

On Thursday, February 28, under the chairmanship of the Minister of labour and social protection of population of RK Berdibek Saparbayev, a regular meeting of the industry working group was held to develop proposals to increase income and improve the quality of life of citizens of the country.

During the meeting, the Minister informed the members of the working group and invited about the measures taken to fulfill the instructions of the Head of state, announced at the congress of "Nur Otan" party.

"Measures to strengthen social support and improve the quality of life of people will be introduced in stages, taking into account an integrated approach. Among them, the expansion of coverage and strengthening of measures to support low-income families, including large families; the development of social maps of the regions; the introduction of a single package of social services and support measures; strengthening of social support for families caring for children with disabilities; for single-parent large families, creating conditions for work at home, and for large families in the village, the allocation of a separate quota of grants and microcredits, the creation of social jobs, the involvement of enterprises, business structures," he said.

In turn, representatives of the initiative groups formed from among the heads of relevant NGO, experts and public expressed a number of proposals to improve the effectiveness of activities aimed at supporting low-income and large families.

Summing up the meeting, B. Saparbayev noted that all recommendations after detailed study and coordination at the interdepartmental level will be submitted for consideration at the working group under the Government of RK.

We remind that the Ministry of labour and social protection of population of RK is a working body of the republican working group on increasing income and improving the quality of life of citizens of the country, including the strengthening of support measures for large families, created at the request of the Head of state under the Government of RK in early February this year.
