Disability and loss of breadwinner benefits increased by 5%

Since January 1, 2019, the amount of social benefits in case of disability and loss of breadwinner from the State social insurance fund (SSIF) for all held recipients increased by 5% in accordance with the level of indexation of similar payments from the republican budget.

This affected 88.3 thousand recipients of social benefits in case of disability and 50.1 thousand recipients of social benefits who lost their breadwinner.

At the same time, the average amount of social benefits in case of disability increased from 15.9 thousand to 16.6 thousand KZT, the average amount of social benefits in case of loss of breadwinner - from 20.6 thousand to 21.7 thousand KZT.
