One of the important channels for increasing the digital literacy of the population is the attraction of citizens and employers to the electronic labor exchange

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madina Abylkasymova informed about it during the session of the Government of the RK.

"535 695 citizens were trained through employment centers and the electronic labor exchange. Of these, 255,333 job seekers who switched to the electronic job search format, 64,771 employers posted jobs through the electronic labor exchange and 215,591 people through employment centers, "the minister explained.

In the current year, automated self-service zones have been created in all the centers, where citizens can use the electronic labor exchange on their own, and, if necessary, resort to consultations of employees of the employment center. The Electronic Labor Exchange has implemented convenient mechanisms for training citizens, such as training videos for employers and job seekers, as well as step-by-step instructions on how to place vacancies and resumes.

In educational centers on the basis of the NPP, 20,919 people were trained in short-term courses. on average qualifications in the field of IT. The training was conducted in 16 educational centers of the NPP and 5 mobile centers, which are moving to regions where there is no possibility of teaching digital literacy.

Also, digital literacy training is conducted in technical and vocational education institutions (VET), in the curriculum, in the specialties demanded on the ICT market, such as programming, information security, microelectronics, and mobile devices, computers, and software, as well as communications, radio electronics, and telecommunications. To date, 58,595 people have been trained in Teachers Training.
