Seminar - meeting on public service, anti-corruption and compliance with professional ethics was held at the Ministry of Labor

The meeting was chaired by the executive secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan Aida Kurmangaliyeva. Also attended by employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Labor Committee, Social Protection and Migration authorized the ethics of state bodies of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, representatives of non-governmental organizations.

Opening the meeting, the executive secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan Aida Kurmangaliyeva noted that Institute of the Ethics Commissioner is embedded in the framework of the 12th step Nation Plan "100 concrete steps" in order to increase the requirements for moral and moral character and merit of public employees. Despite the fact that the authorized institution introduced not so long ago, the practice shows that this institution is necessary and has already proven itself positively.

About the work carried out within the framework of compliance with Kazakhstan legislation in the areas of public service was made Commissioner of Ethics of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population Raw Nasi.

So, for the current period held over 50 preventive measures carried out 17 visits to the regions: in the regional centers, district and rural districts.

During the reporting period the survey was attended by more than 400 civil servants. At the same time, he stressed that the heads of structural divisions of the Ministry and its territorial departments should pay special attention to the construction of the system, "Head - Slave" and creating an atmosphere of understanding and confidence in the structural units, a uniform load distribution on the staff, as part of their official duties .

As director of the Control Department of the Agency in the field of civil service Ravil Tyulebaev, today in Kazakhstan provided the legislative and institutional framework for the functioning of a professional state apparatus.

Meanwhile, the head of the project SEC "Bilim" Alia Orazgalieva announced results of a sociological study to determine the level of ethics of civil servants: "According to the results of the survey 73% of respondents indicated a high level of ethical conduct for civil servants. 65.5% of those surveyed are satisfied with ethics of civil servants. Satisfaction level of courtesy and professional ethics (behavior) of the civil servant to receive public services among the population is 76%. "
