More than 772 thousand Kazakhstan citizens received payments from the State Social Insurance Fund in 2017

In the 12 months of 2017, payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter - SSIF) amounted to about 157 billion tenge. Expenditures on social payments for maternity, adoption (adoption) of a newborn child (children) amounted to KZT 62.6 billion, to care for a child before reaching the age of one year - more than 74 billion KZT, loss of ability to work - 9.9 billion tenge, the loss of the bread-winner - 7.8 billion tenge, loss of work - 2.1 billion tenge.

The average amount of payments from the SSIF for pregnancy and childbirth, in connection with the adoption of a newborn child (children) was about 370 thousand tenge, this payment was received by over 180 thousand Kazakhstanis.

The average amount of social payments to care for a child before reaching the age of one year was more than 26 thousand tenge, it was received by more than 435 thousand citizens.

36 thousand people received a social payment in case of job loss, its average size was 21 thousand tenge.

More than 42 thousand Kazakhstanis were provided with payments in case of loss of the bread-winner, the average size of which was about 15 thousand tenge. Another 79 thousand citizens received a social payment in case of disability, its average size - 12 thousand tenge.
