In the framework of productive employment in 2017 the measures of employment were covered by 527 thousand people, of which 136 thousand to the unproductive self-employed citizens, the status of which was established during Podoroga bypass.

In the result of joint work with the Central state authorities, in less than a year have been identified and formalized the status of about 3 million people and today it is not updated remain the status of 2.7 million people.

 "Of the 2.7 million citizens without status of 1.14 million is informally employed, for the formalization which is the necessary legislative changes. 1.55 million unproductive self-employed and the unemployed, which will engage in productive employment" - said the Minister of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova said during the government meeting on January 16 of this year.

The results show that the Central task is the scope of active employment measures, not 2.7 million people and 1.5 million people.

For this purpose, according to the head of the Department, developed a set of measures including digitalization of the employment and social protection taking into account the stimulation of labor activity. These measures will be taken, along with measures of the Program of productive employment.

In order to support the productive employment of the regions approved roadmaps on the formalization of self-employed and the comprehensive plans of promotion of employment.

For 2018 identified 743 thousand jobs with potential employment, of which 220 thousand new jobs.
