The Minister of labor Tamara Duissenova participated in the work of the Advisory Council on labor, migration and social protection of the population

17 November 2017 in St. Petersburg hosted the 30th anniversary meeting of the Consultative Council for labor, migration and social protection of population of the States - participants of UIS.

The Advisory Board was formed on November 13, 1992 by decision of Council of heads of governments of States-participants of the UIS and is designed to provide coordination and resolve issues of social and labor sphere.

The work of the Council was attended by the Minister of labor and social protection of population of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. K. duysenova, the Minister of labor and social protection of the Russian Federation M. A. Topilin, Deputy Minister of labor and social protection of population of the Republic of Azerbaijan N. N. Mamedov, Minister of labor and social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia A. D. Asatryan, Minister of labor and social protection of the Republic of Belarus I. A. Kostevich, representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, the CIS Executive Committee, the General configuration of trade unions.

As observers to participate in the event invited the representatives of the Interparliamentary Assembly of States-participants of UIS, as well as the international labor organization (ILO) for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

During the meeting, one of the key issues have for the implementation of measures of family and demographic policies in the UIS, social protection of family, women and children. Addressed the issue of cooperation on improvement of regulatory legal base in the provision of social services to the population. Recommendations on the development of General principles of cooperation in providing the employment opportunities of certain groups: youth, disabled, women etc. In addition, the ways of cooperation in development of common principles for the development and application of professional standards of the States – participants of UIS.

According to the results of the meeting was signed the Decision of the Consultative Council for labor, migration and social protection of population of the States-participants of UIS, which outlines joint priorities of the participating countries in the field of labor and social protection in the near future.
