In the Palace of peace and accord in Astana hosted a Republican forum "Toward Universal Labor Society", devoted to Labor Day and the Day of workers of social protection system

The ceremony was attended by the State Secretary of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova, Minister of labor and social protection of population Tamara Duissenova, members of Parliament, representatives of Central and local Executive bodies, the business community, trade unions and the General public.

Opening the forum, Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed that the future success of the nation will be measured by the quality of human capital and focused on results of implementation of several government and industry programs that promote the goals of the idea of Universal Labor Society.

"Under state and government programs in the current year 290 thousand jobs. Developed nearly 500 professional standards. Almost 90% of large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as in over 30% of the small act of a collective agreement governing social and labor relations" - said Gulshara Abdykalikova.

This year, along with labor Day the country celebrates the Day of workers of social protection, which, in accordance with the decree of the head of state is celebrated on the last Sunday of October.

The Minister of labor and social protection of population Tamara Duissenova emphasized that the main purpose of workers social protection – caring about people.

"Their main task – time to lend a helping hand to those in need. Social workers do not just perform their duties, they give people their kindness, compassion and hope for a better future."

Tamara Kasymovna emphasized the contribution of social protection of veterans of the socio-labor sphere and expressed confidence that good traditions of their predecessors are preserved and strengthened by successive generations.

In the framework of the forum there was a photo exhibition of workers, a solemn ceremony of awarding winners of Republican contests "Yenbek Zholy" as well as "Best worker of social protection", honoring veterans of labor.

Winners in the following nominations: "the Best labor dynasty" – a family of railway workers Zhubanysheva of Aktobe region; "the Best mentor of young workers" – the head of production and technical services utilities Tlek Kharin from Western Kazakhstan area; "the Best young worker of production" – teacher of the Nursultan Abbasov of the South Kazakhstan region; "For a special contribution to attracting young people to work" – the head of the kindergarten Nurzhamal Toleuova of South Kazakhstan region.

The aim of the competition "Yenbek Zholy" is the education of the Kazakhstanis pride in the achievements of compatriots who have made a significant contribution to the economic development of the country.

Recall that winners are determined via online voting, which took place from 10 to 20 October 2017 on the official website of the Ministry of labor and social protection of population of RK (enbek.gov.kz).
