Since the beginning of the year, more than 630,000 people of Kazakhstan received social benefits

KZT 115.7 billion was the total amount of payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter - SSSF) from the beginning of 2017.

 140,8 thousand Kazakhstan citizens received social benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, as well as in connection with the adoption of the child. The total amount of payments was 48 billion tenge. On average, this is 333 thousand tenge.

53 billion were social payments for the care of a child until he reached the age of one year. In this direction, more than 350 thousand citizens received social support, where the average amount of payments is more than 24 thousand tenge.

For 12 thousand tenge for the total amount of 7.4 billion tenge citizens received due to disability.

On average, payments from the State Social Insurance Fund due to the loss of the breadwinner amounted to 15 thousand tenge. This kind of social support was received by more than 38 thousand Kazakhstanis for the total amount of 5.8 billion tenge. Social assistance in the event of job loss was received by 26 thousand people for a total of KZT 1.5 billion, the average size of which was about 18 thousand tenge.

Recall that compulsory social insurance in the Republic of Kazakhstan is introduced as an additional form of social protection of the working population in cases of social risk.
