The new reform requires a change in legislation

In 2018, a new reform of labor and social security will be introduced. This innovation provides fulfillment of the President's instruction on labor market modernization in his present Address to the people.

This was announced today at the regular meeting of the Government by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova.

Within the framework of the innovation reform, a draft law was introduced, providing for the introduction of amendments and additions to the Law "On employment of the population". This initiative was prepared jointly by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken".

As part of the amendments and additions to the above-mentioned law, it is planned to create an electronic labor exchange in the country. This means that the resume and vacancies of employers will be accumulated on a unified basis. The privilege is that public and private employment centers will be available to any citizen in the open space of the Internet. That is, the new electronic platform allows citizens and private employers to receive information from the Internet portal for free.

Another important aspect is the contribution of the private sector to the sustainable employment of citizens. The task of professional retraining, training and employment of the unemployed and self-employed citizens will be transferred to the private sector through competition with public and private outsourcing.

It should be noted that today in Kazakhstan there are 46 private employment centers.
