The third phase of modernization needs skilled workers

In the framework of the working visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintaev in South Kazakhstan region held a seminar-meeting on issues of realization of the program of development of productive employment and mass business for the years 2017-2021.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of labor and social protection of population Tamara Duissenova recalled that in his address to people of Kazakhstan the Head of state announced the transition to the third upgrade, which is to ensure Kazakhstan's entry into top 30 developed countries of the world. In this regard, all state authorities delivered a number of new tasks.

"The big challenge for us is to implement the third strategy of upgrading, which involves the development of innovative industries and the introduction of new technologies. For this purpose, require new professional staff. According to official figures, 25% of the unemployed have secondary education. And 50% of self-employed people have no professional education. Therefore, the main goal of this program is to educate the citizens of the professions demanded on the labor market. That is, after training, every citizen can get a job or open their own business," - said Tamara Duissenova.

According to the Minister, today in training involved 82 thousand people, of which 21 thousand people are studying in institutions of technical and vocational education, 49 thousand are trained on short courses, including in enterprises. 12 thousand people were trained in the basics of entrepreneurship project "Bastau Business", 5.7 thousand people received microcredit.

In General, for September 25, said the Minister, 386 thousand citizens took part in the Program of development of productive employment, of which 204 thousand were arranged on a permanent job.

The Minister also noted that steps are actively being implemented Program aimed at increasing labor mobility. In this regard, in Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Mangistau and South Kazakhstan regions have held job fairs. In these fairs attended by the employers of the Northern regions, and citizens are given the opportunity to choose their place of work. As a result, 1 279 families isheavily the desire to move to the Northern regions. "Resettlement is voluntary and occurs only when there are vacancies from employers and employment guarantees," - said the Minister.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of regional administrations, mayors of districts and cities, heads of district and city departments of employment and social programs, employment centers, representatives of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region, of the branches of JSC "Fund for financial support of agriculture", JSC "entrepreneurship development Fund "Damu", JSC "agrarian credit Corporation", of the second tier banks and organizations of education.

In the framework of the working visit the Minister also visited the city territorial center of social service of the akimat of Shymkent.
