672 families have expressed a desire to move from SKR in the Northern regions

The results of the job fairs employers from the Northern regions, held in Maktaaral and Saryagash districts of South Kazakhstan region and Shymkent in the period from 3 to 5 April this year, 672 families have made the decision to move to the Northern region of the Republic. Of these, 96 families of the Maktaaral district, 124 of Saryagash district, 452 families from Shymkent.

Families who want to move to Northern regions, there are 1 thousand 8 able-bodied citizens, of which 794 people want to work in state-owned enterprises, 116 South Kazakhstan citizens want to work in agriculture, 98 people intend to do business.

187 families planning to move to North Kazakhstan, 169 in East Kazakhstan, 161 – in Kostanay, 155 - in the Pavlodar region.

A total of 636 employers from the Northern regions introduced for the residents of southern Kazakhstan 1785 vacancies in the manufacturing sector (37%), education (31%), health (21%), government (6%), agriculture (3,6%), construction (1%).

All in all, the fairs were attended by more than 5.7 million residents.

We will remind, according to the Department of coordination of employment and social programs of South Kazakhstan region, in the region to date, the excess of qualified specialists with higher education and workers without qualifications is 66 thousand 474 people.

To stimulate a voluntary migration, the Government of Kazakhstan has identified 7 regions for the reception of migrants, including repatriates (Akmola, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan region), and 4 of the region of departure (Almaty, Zhambyl, Mangystau and South Kazakhstan region).

In 2016 146 families from SKR moved to North Kazakhstan (125 families), Kostanay (18 families) and East Kazakhstan (3 families) area.
