In 2016 Kazakhstan NGO had spectaculary more than 6 thousand people

In 2016, thanks to the placement of the state order for rendering of special social services NGO of the Republic could help 6.3 thousand Kazakhs were in a difficult life situation. They included the elderly, persons with disabilities, including children with disabilities and persons with psycho-neurological diseases, victims of human trafficking.

Earmarked current transfers for the placement of the state social order to NGO  in 2016 made up of KZT 702.9 million, including the cost of equipment and home services – KZT 679,1 million for rehabilitation of victims of trafficking in human beings KZT 23.8 million.

"The placement of the state order for rendering of special social services significantly increases their availability to needy citizens. If this area was not involved NGO for such coverage spectacularly would have had to open a few dozen state boarding homes and other special institutions, and this enormous financial costs," - said the Director of the Department of social services of the MLSP RK Aigul Tagbergenova.

In 2016, the provision of spectacular most worked for NGO in Eastern Kazakhstan (17), Pavlodar (15), Akmola (12), Zhambyl (10) and Karaganda (7) regions. The small number of NGO have brought in Mangistau, Atyrau and North Kazakhstan region – 1.

In 2017, the placement of the state social order in non-governmental sector it is planned to allocate KZT 1 billion 122 million.

It should be noted that for the last 7 years the number of Kazakhs who received spectaculary from NGO, increased 4.3-fold (from 1.5 thousand in 2009 to 6.3 thousand persons in 2016), and a number of NGO which are service – 25 times (from 4 in 2009 to 100 in 2026).
