More than 21 thousand residents of Akmola region covered by measures facilitating employment of the population in 2016

In 2016 in Akmola region within the of the implementation of the Regional comprehensive plan to promote employment of government support measures covered by 21.4 thousand people from among the unemployed (15.5 thousand) and unproductive employees (5,9 thousand), representing 52.9% of the total number of unemployed and unproductive employed persons in the region.

Of them are employed:

- for projects within the public and governmental programs, programs of development of regions - 2 thousand 488 people;

- social workplaces aimed at 637 people;

- youth practice - 682 persons;

- public works - 3 thousand 318 people;

- professional studies - 313 people, including 115 people aimed at teaching the basics of entrepreneurship;

- employed without application of measures of state support of 13 thousand 529 people.

In addition, 439 people received microcredit to open or expand their business.

In 2016 in the Republic in the framework of integrated plans for promotion of employment measures of state support there was reached more than 520 thousand people.
