In the framework of the Project of future expansion of "Tengizshevroil", it will create over 20 thousand jobs

It has been announced today on the forum of construction companies of the Project of the future expansion, Project wellhead pressure management (FGP-WPMP) "Tengizshevroil" held in Atyrau by Deputy Minister of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan Birzhan Nurymbetov.

The event was attended by representatives of Central and local Executive bodies, local and international contractors LLP "Tengizshevroil".

At the beginning of Birzhan Nurymbetov’s speech he noted that the above project "Tengizshevroil" is an example of successful long-term investment policy of our State. Foreign investment, which are generated in the project have a multiplier effect and promote business development and improve the social wellbeing of the population.

"Today, according to the LLP "Tengizshevroil" on the FGP-WPMP employed 10.5 million people, of which, 9.4 thousand local employees, accounting for 90% of the project staff, operating in Kazakhstan.

The government expects that in the framework of PFE-PWPM will create over 20 thousand jobs in Kazakhstan with the local content in frames can reach about 18 thousand people. LLP "Tengizshevroil" also undertakes the training of the Kazakhstani staff," he said.

The Deputy-Minister also said that in FGP-WPMP planned to attract workers from Atyrau and Mangystau regions, as well as nearby regions (Aktobe, Kyzylorda and West Kazakhstan oblasts).
