About the work of the monitoring group on the adaptation of social infrastructure facilities

On June 8, 2021, a meeting of the Council for Support of Employment and Socially Vulnerable Segments of the Population at the North Kazakhstan regional branch of the Nur Otan Party was held on the following issues:

1. On the progress of work on providing housing for socially vulnerable segments of the population within the framework of the implementation of the Road Map indicators.
2. About the work on creating a barrier-free environment for people with special needs.

The head of the Department for control in the field of social protection of the population – Gabdullina G. L. took part in this meeting and spoke on the results of the audit of compliance with the Law "On Social Protection of Disabled People in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

During the meeting, the issue of the monitoring group's work on improving and adapting social infrastructure facilities for people with special needs, providing technical means and rehabilitation services to people with disabilities in need was considered and discussed.

To date, the monitoring group has visited 211 objects of the region out of 259 objects, according to the results of which recommendations were made on the identified violations.

2. О работе по созданию безбарьерной среды для людей с особыми потребностями.

В данном заседании приняла участие и выступила по вопросу об итогах проверки соблюдения норм Закона «О социальной защите инвалидов в Республике Казахстан» руководитель отдела по контролю в сфере социальной защиты населения – Габдуллина Г.Л.

В ходе заседании рассмотрен и обсужден вопрос о работе мониторинговой группы по улучшению и адаптации объектов социальной инфраструктуры для людей с особыми потребностями, обеспечению нуждающихся лиц с инвалидностью техническими средствами и услугами реабилитации.

На сегодняшний день мониторинговой группой посещено 211 объектов области из 259 объектов, по результатам которых даны рекомендации по выявленным нарушениям.
