Today, at the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools", the Minister of Emergency Situations, Syrym Sharipkhanov, awarded a student of the NIS of Petropavlovsk, Aslan Himaletdinov, with the medal "For Saving Drowning People", who saved a drowning boy in the North Kazakhstan region.
– I want to thank Aslan for his heroism and courage. In the future, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is waiting for such brave guys to the civil protection authorities. It is very important and necessary to observe the safety rules on the water both in summer and in winter. Our ministry always pays attention to heroes, as these people are essentially rescuers. At the same time, it should be noted that about 30 thousand children have been trained in swimming skills by our units since the beginning of the year.
noted Raw Sharipkhanov.
Chairman of the Board of NIS Anuar Zhangozin emphasized that teachers and classmates are proud of Aslan's courage and presented the award "Kamkor zhurek":
– His feat vividly reflects the values and spirit of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. We are proud of the student who is an example for everyone. Within the framework of the "Service to Society" project, our students help those who need help. This noble cause shows that NIS combines education and upbringing.
The Head of the Department and the Chairman of the NIS Board also presented the young man with memorable gifts.
The NIS team expressed great gratitude to Aslan's parents Rustam and Sandugash Himaletdinov for raising a brave young man.
– I was cycling around the city, I heard cries for help and at the same time a girl running along the path up the slope of the ravine, who was also calling for help. I realized that someone was drowning. Without hesitation, I rushed to run," Aslan shared.
