Joint seminar with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic

On September 30, 2021, an international online seminar was held on the topic: «Organization of events to raise public awareness in the field of civil protection».

The seminar was organized within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Civil Defense and Military Units, Colonel Alexey Sovetov, made a welcoming speech from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Yrysbek Zholdoshbayev, Head of the Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Rescue Operations, from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Further, during the event, reports were made by the head of the educational and methodological part of the Center for Training and Retraining of Civil Protection Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Colonel Bolot Sharshenaliev, on the topic: «Informing and raising awareness of the population in the field of civil protection» and the head of the civil defense planning and public education Department, Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Arifdzhanov, on the topic: «Informing and notifying the population in the state civil protection system of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

As the participants noted, this event serves as a reliable platform for exchanging experience and establishing cooperation in the field of training and promotion of knowledge in the field of civil protection.

As a result of the seminar, agreements were reached on further cooperation between partners and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were determined.
