All fires in the Ulytau district have been completely eliminated

In the Karaganda region, the situation with wildfires has stabilized. All fires in the Ulytau district have been completely eliminated. Their total area was 36538 hectares.

On the territory of two rural districts of the Ulytau district - Zhangeldinsky and Aktastinsky, Gorenje grass burned on an area of 28,000 hectares. The fire was localized at 18: 10 on July 7 and liquidated at 21: 00 on July 8.

In the Shenber rural district, 20 km north of the village of Korgasyn, Gorenje dry grass on an area of 4700 hectares occurred at 19:20 on July 4 (established at 17: 20 on July 7). The fire was localized at 17: 20 on July 07 and liquidated at 21: 00 on July 8.

In the same rural district, but 50 km northeast of the village of Korgasyn, the flame engulfed 3,500 hectares of land. The fire was extinguished at 21: 00 on July 8.

70 km west of the village of Sarlyk, Amangelda rural district, there was a fire of dry grass on an area of 3600 hectares. The fire was extinguished at 21: 00 on July 8.

In total, 540 people and 70 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

Extinguishing the fire was complicated by hot weather and strong wind, which contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.
