The man was carried away by the current of the Charyn River in the Almaty region

On July 1, at 11: 15, a message was received on the 112 remote control that a man, born in 1984, was carried away by the current of the Charyn River in the Kegensky district of the Almaty region. To carry out search operations, the forces and means of the emergency department of the Almaty region in the amount of 15 personnel and 4 units of equipment were immediately sent to the site. At 12: 05 o'clock, a group of rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations of 8 personnel and 1 calculation of the cynological service left. At 13:00, the Kazaviaspas helicopter took off. The forces and means will be increased.

According to preliminary data, the aforementioned man, from among a group of tourists, while trying to take a photo on a dangerous site, slipped into the water and was carried away by the current.
