CMC formations took part in the elimination of the medical and sanitary consequences of more than 40 major emergencies, both in Kazakhstan and abroad, while providing qualified medical assistance to more than 45 thousand victims, emergency psychological assistance to 4 thousand victims.

40 highway medical and rescue centers of the Center for Disaster Medicine are located on the most emergency sections of the republic's highways and provide both medical and rescue assistance to victims of road accidents around the clock.

During the visit, the senators were presented with medical vehicles used by CMC doctors during emergency visits. All equipment is equipped with modern medical equipment that allows you to perform the necessary resuscitation measures directly in the emergency zone or during medical evacuation.

In addition, the senators got acquainted with the situational class for self-training of medical personnel, equipped with special mannequins-simulators. The task of such simulators is to create clinical situations that are as close as possible to real situations that occur in life. Performing resuscitation on the simulator allows you to work out the main actions in practice, which helps to train the skill of performing manipulations to save the lives of victims.

The senators noted that in modern realities, disaster medicine should be provided with qualified personnel and equipment to be ready to reflect the threats of possible emergencies in the country. It is very important for doctors to have the conditions for early carrying out the necessary procedures, often resuscitation, and to have modern equipment that can save the patient's life.
