Another body found in Sairam-Ugam gorge

On June 12, 2021, in the course of research in the directions from the Ugam River Bridge on the left side to the Otoboteke Ridge, rescuers of the Republican Operational Rescue Squad found a body in the Makpalsai gorge of the Turkestan region. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Talgat Uali.

The gorge is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Due to the difficult mountain terrain and rocky slopes, it was not possible to transport the body by helicopter. ROSO rescuers on foot, having organized a crossing over the Ugam River (the current speed is 20 meters per second), moved to the body. The staff of the ROSO took the deceased to the place where the air vessel was able to "hang" in the air and with the help of a winch, the body was lifted onto the airboard and handed over to the police for examination. The search involved 127 employees, 15 pieces of equipment, 3 quadrocopters, 3 dog squad of the Departments of Emergency Situations and the Police of the Turkestan region, the Border Service of the National Security Service, Forestry, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1 helicopter and relatives of the missing tourists. The search works are conducted in eight directions.

According to preliminary data, the found body of the guy belongs to the missing tourist born in 2004. The son's body was recognized by his father.

Earlier, three missing tourists were found and rescued. The bodies of two tourists were also found. Search operations will continue.
