The belongings of the missing tourists were found near the Ugam River

Today, at 13:10 hours, 500 meters from the confluence of the Aigyrzhykkan and Ugam rivers in the Tolebi district of the Turkestan region, things were found (a hoodie, a rubber flip-flop, a sleeping bag). Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations handed over the found bag to police officers. The mother of one of the missing tourists recognized her son's belongings. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Uali.

Currently, the search for the two missing tourists continues. In the region, aerial reconnaissance is carried out by a helicopter of JSC "Kazaviaspas". The search operation has been going on for 15 days.

The search involved 137 employees, 17 pieces of equipment, Emergency Departments and Police of the Turkestan region, the Border Service of the National Security Committee, Forestry, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1 helicopter and relatives of the missing tourists. Search operations are conducted in nine areas.

Earlier, three missing tourists were found and rescued. The bodies of two tourists were also found.
