Rescuers of the Republican operational and rescue squad helped two tourists to descend from a cliff in the Mynzhylky tract

On May 02, the Republican Operational rescue Team received information about people trapped on a rock in the Mynzhylky tract. The victims climbed on the rock opposite the Bastion, the tourists could not go down on their own.

The ROSO task force went to the scene of the incident. Having reached the area by operational transport, the rescuers of ROSO immediately saw the victims. They were on a rock at a slope of 50 degrees, at an altitude of about 3500 meters. Also, employees of the Almaty city rescue service arrived at the scene.

The terrain was very difficult to traverse. Streams flowed down from the rocks, large stones rolled down, and snow and ice lay in places.

Rescuers of the Republican operational and rescue squad together with the Rescue Service of the city of Almaty went up to the victims. The tourists were a guy and a girl from the East Kazakhstan region. Both were very tired, and the girl showed signs of altitude sickness. The clothes of the young people were completely unsuitable for such a route.

Carefully, using climbing equipment, the rescuers of both emergency services lowered the young people on ropes, overcoming all obstacles. Then, according to the crossing organized by the rescuers of ROSO, the victims were transferred across the mountain river.

Having reached the operational transport, the rescuers of ROSO took the guy and the girl to a safe place in the city.

The Republican operational rescue squad warns! If you are going on a mountain hike, do not go on unfamiliar routes, count your strength. It is necessary to wear comfortable clothing, shoes should be specialized. Remember, the mountainous terrain is very dangerous!
