Fire safety rules in open areas

Summer тhis is the time to go out to the forest for picnics, hunting, picking mushrooms and berries. In order to prevent fires in the spring-summer fire-hazardous period, it is necessary to remember the rules of fire safety in forests and garden plots when using an open fire and making bonfires. As a rule, going out into the forest is accompanied by the process of cooking on an open fire. Bonfires are allowed in the forests, but in compliance with certain rules. Campfires in the forest are allowed only in open areas. The place of the bonfire is separated by a fire-fighting mineralized (i.e. cleaned to the mineral layer of the soil) with a strip of at least 0.5 meters wide. The same requirement must be met when using barbecues. After use, the fire should be extinguished, the coals carefully covered with earth or filled with water until the complete cessation of smoldering. During the period of using an open flame until the end of the smoldering process, control over the non-proliferation of gorenje should be carried out. A person using an open fire must be provided with primary fire extinguishing means (a container with water or a shovel), as well as mobile means of communication to call the fire department.

During the fire-hazardous period in open areas, as well as in forests, it is prohibited:

- bonfires in coniferous young trees, on burning grounds (a forest area with a stand that died from a fire), in places of dried grass, as well as under the crowns of trees;

- throw burning matches, cigarette butts and burning ashes from smoking pipes, glass, glass bottles, cans, etc.;

- use wads of combustible or smoldering materials when hunting;

- it is prohibited to clog the forest with household waste, construction, industrial and other waste.

When using an open fire to burn dry grass and garden debris on garden and household plots, a metal container should be used, eliminating the possibility of flame propagation and loss of combustible materials. The metal container is firmly installed in an open area, which is cleaned of combustible materials within a radius of two meters. The distance to this site from buildings, structures and other structures should be at least five meters. In order to localize the combustion process in a timely manner, the container intended for incineration of garbage should be used with a metal sheet, the size of which should allow the specified container to be completely closed from above.Gorenje It is forbidden to use a metal container for incineration of garbage that has through holes or burnouts for incineration of garbage.

During the period of burning and the use of an open flame until the cessation of the smoldering process, control over the non-proliferation of gorenje beyond the focal zone should be carried out.

When the wind speed exceeds 10 meters per second, the burning of dry grass and garbage, the use of open fire is prohibited.

Compliance with simple fire safety rules will save your home and property, prevent the death of people during a fire.
