Rules of fire safety on motor vehicles.
Despite the preventive work carried out by the employees of the Emergency Department of the West Kazakhstan Region to ensure fire safety on motor vehicles, with the increase in the number of vehicles, the number of fires on motor vehicles is also growing. The largest number of fires is associated with cars that are in personal use. Fires of motor vehicles can occur in various situations: in case of an accident, when driving a car, during a short stop, during prolonged stay in an open parking lot or in a garage. These differences inevitably affect the nature of the manifestation of the cause of the fire, its dynamics and consequences.
The fire is difficult to control, and if a fire has arisen in a vehicle, the flame can completely cover the car in a matter of seconds and spread to other nearby objects. What is terrible about a fire in a car? Why do serious fires occur on motor vehicles at all? Car fires, like any other fires, can be the result of a manifestation of a random combination of circumstances.
The main causes of fires on motor vehicles are malfunctions of fuel systems or electrical equipment of the on–board electrical system. Fires in cars occur both during parking and while driving, or as a result of deliberate actions aimed at intentionally destroying the vehicle. And all because there are a lot of combustible materials and potential sources of ignition in the car, and the probability of fires always exists.
It is important to follow simple rules of technical operation. Carefully treat the installation of additional electrical equipment, constantly monitor the condition of the fuel system. Keep a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit in the car. Only the high responsibility of each owner excludes the possibility of a fire in the car.
