On August 25 of this year, the emergency Department of Shymkent, before the beginning of the flood-prone period of 2022-2023, organized an aerial visual inspection of existing hydraulic structures and flood-prone areas of the city. The leadership of the Emergency Department took part in this event.
During the flight, tasks aimed at preventing possible emergencies were discussed, with a flyby of possible flooding sites.
In particular, within the framework of the Road Map of flood prevention measures for 2021-2023, 10 events have been fixed in Shymkent (20 years of Independence on the banks of the Badam River, Kyzylzhar, Igilik, Mayatas, Togys, Zhylanbuzgan, Akzhar reservoir, Aksai-Karabastau canal, 195 quarterly canal, Bozaryk canal).
