Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Shymkent
(further - Department) On July 1, 2021, additions and changes were made to the order of the Akim of the city of Shymkent No. 21-r dated November 8, 2018
«On the creation of civil protection services of the city of Shymkent».
Prior to that, 15 Civil Protection services (hereinafter referred to as GZ services) operated on the territory of the city of Shymkent, according to the order of the mayor of the city for No. 77-r, 6 institutions were supplemented, where the total number of services. The GZ has reached up to 21.

These changes and additions to the above-mentioned order for the Department the goal is set - to protect the population from the consequences of an emergency situation, the use of modern means of destruction and the reduction of damage caused, as well as improving the work on the effective organization of urgent work and measures for the evacuation of the population.
