In recent times, weather poisoning has become more frequent due to weather conditions. In order to prevent fires and deaths in the residential sector, the Mangistau Region Department of Emergency Situations is conducting a month of fire safety in the residential sector.
The main purpose of the raids is to urge residents to manifest consciousness and exclude violations of fire safety rules, it is explained that it is unacceptable to overload power networks, violate fire safety rules during the operation of electrical appliances and gas equipment.
During the raids, special attention is paid to the households of private houses where furnace heating is used. Solid fuel furnaces due to violation of fire safety rules can become a source of fire. According to statistics, it is violation of the rules for the operation of furnace heating that is the most common cause of fires.
The owners of households recall the importance of observing fire safety rules in everyday life, including when handling fire, operating electrical appliances, installing electrical equipment and installing furnaces.
Talking to homeowners, firefighters explain how to protect the house from fire, ensure its safety and avoid injuries and material damage.
So in the course of the first month of the Month, a total of employees of the Department together with volunteers "League of Volunteers of Kazakhstan" carried out about 31,596 courtyard rounds covering more than 123 thousand people.
Special attention is paid to people belonging to the so-called "group of socially vulnerable segments of the population," that is, large families, pensioners, orphans and people with disabilities. During preventive work, citizens are explained the rules of fire safety, memos on fire prevention topics are awarded.
The Department has carried out preventive measures in which more than 3 thousand houses are inhabited by socially vulnerable segments of the population.
Residents and guests are asked to respond positively to fire prevention measures, comply with fire safety requirements and be vigilant.
