The capital's firefighters are fighting the fire of dead wood

Only since the morning of the current day, the fire departments of the emergency department of the city of Nur-Sultan have left five times to ignite dead wood.
At the moment, firefighters in the number of 67 personnel and 9 pieces of equipment, as well as two units of the akimat of the city are working to eliminate the fire of dead wood in the dacha society "Zapadny" on a preliminary area of 1500 sq.m. There are no victims and injured.
Another of the major exits was in the Saryarka area along Akkorgan Street, where firefighters liquidated a fire of dead wood and reeds on an area of 300 sq.m. and on the bypass "Eastern Bypass" of the Almaty district, where dry grass was also burning.

Dear citizens, human activity often becomes the main cause of the ignition of dry grass, reeds – burning dead wood, garbage in suburban areas, along roads or in the forests nearest settlements, as well as careless handling of fire during recreation. In this regard, the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Nur-Sultan recommends not to set fire to dry grass;
- do not throw burning matches and cigarette butts on the ground;
- do not light fires in dry and windy weather, do not leave them un-extinguished;
- do not allow children to play with fire-hazardous objects;
- mow dry grass around your plot.
