Observe the rules of using gas at home!

Everyone knows that gas is fraught with serious danger, but many do not take it seriously and treat it with negligence. In pursuit of profit, specialized organizations and numerous private entrepreneurs, in violation of all applicable norms and rules, actively sell gas cylinders not only in the individual sector, but also in areas of multi-storey buildings.

Unsuitable territories, buildings and vehicles are used for storage and transportation of cylinders with liquefied gas, and maintenance of replaceable cylinders is not performed. The quantity, quality, pressure of the refueled gas is not controlled, which, in the end, can lead to an explosion with unpredictable consequences.

Cylinders with visible physical damage, overdue testing and operation periods are used inside "high-rise buildings" on gas equipment that has not been serviced for many years - this is one of the main causes of emergencies and fires in multi-storey residential buildings. At the same time, I would like to remind you that the operation of gas cylinders in multi-storey buildings with more than two floors is prohibited.

To prevent the occurrence of a fire during the operation of a gas cylinder, and a centralized gas supply network, both in private and in multi-storey buildings, residents must comply with the following requirements:

- it is forbidden to turn on gas appliances and use them for children and persons who are not familiar with the device of these devices;

- if you smell gas, you need to stop using gas appliances (turn them off). Detection of gas leakage from gas pipelines, cylinders or gas appliances is carried out by specialists only with the help of soap solution (foam). In order to avoid an explosion, the use of fire is strictly prohibited.

- if you feel the smell of gas in the room, in order to avoid an explosion, you can not light matches, lighters, use electric switches, enter with an open flame or with a cigarette.

If a gas leak has occurred from an open tap on a gas appliance, it must be closed, the room must be thoroughly ventilated, and only after that you can light a fire.

The gas stove must be kept clean, not to allow its contamination. Burner housings and their caps should be washed regularly with warm soapy water.
