"Do not leave the child alone" is a rule that should be constantly heard in the head of every parent. Often, it is precisely because of the neglect of this common truth that irreparable tragedies occur, leaving a deep mark on the heart and responding with indescribable pain throughout the rest of life. After all, there is nothing worse than realizing your own stupid mistake without being able to correct it...

In order to draw attention to the problem of children's mischief with fire and the death of children in fires, reduce the number of emergencies involving children and ensure their general safety (at home, on the street, on vacation, in a pond, etc.), from May 24 to June 1, the capital's action "Safety through the eyes of children" will be held, timed to the Children's Day, within which employees of the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Nur-Sultan will hold a large-scale action.The events will be held in 4 stages, in which we will try to revive in the memory of parents the "words of edification" that they received when they were still children.

As part of the first stage, which will take place from 24 to 28 May, the course will be taken on parents and their children. "Where and how can "adults "maximally" hear "the child?" - having asked the question, we came to the unanimous opinion that "Instagram" will help us, and having held it in the form of a challenge called "1000 and 1 advice to parents", children will be able to address parents in video and photo format with suggestions "how to protect the child from harm?".After all, it is not for nothing that it is said "the truth speaks through the mouth of a baby". The terms of the contest will be posted on the official page of the Nur-Sultan Emergency Department "nursultan_tjd". Parents themselves can share their experience on child safety, which was the reason for launching a social survey among parents "How to save a child from trouble?", which will be held in crowded places. And we will share the most creative video appeals of parents on the page "nursultan_tjd".

Young parents will be at the center of the second stage of the event.

Traditionally, the focus will be on mothers, because they spend most of their time with children. And taking into account the anti-epidemic situation, we will conduct it in an online mode by interviewing an electronic test application, where "expectant mothers" will find and mark places on the board pictures that pose a danger to preschool children in the house, on the street, in a public place, on the water, on vacation.

We will not ignore the "future dads", who are no less obliged to think about the safety of their children. In the format of the intellectual game "Who wants to become a millionaire?" we will conduct a survey through social messengers, the main prize in which will be invaluable knowledge that can protect the family from emergencies. We will also give emotions during the most exciting events for parents – discharge from maternity hospitals. Employees of the Department of Emergency Situations will meet and congratulate the newly-made fathers and mothers, tell them about the importance of creating safe living conditions for a new family member and give them souvenirs as a reminder. Thematic photo zones will allow you to make vivid photos from the first days of the life of the newly born citizens of our country.

The focus during the third stage will be on families with many children and those in a socially dangerous situation. The work will be carried out in two directions. In the first, the Department's employees will visit, where they will conduct conversations, games and quizzes with children and their parents. In the second – we will take over the activities of orphanages, boarding schools with the conduct of demonstration performances of dog handlers, rescuers, and the demonstration of educational cartoons.

The fourth stage of the campaign is dedicated to the International Children's Day. Where can you get a lot of bright emotions and unforgettable impressions?» – that's exactly the question we asked. And the answer did not take long to wait – of course, in the amusement park!
