In the capital's Department of Emergency Situations reminded of the rules of safety on reservoirs

Currently, there are 3 swimming areas in the city of Nur-Sultan that meet the safety requirements: the Central Beach, the recreation areas "Three Minnows" and "Stolichny Dvor", other sections of reservoirs in the city for swimming are not equipped and are not authorized. Swimming in such places is prohibited.Every year before the beginning of the bathing period, the bathing areas should be examined by the relevant services. On the beach, the boundaries of the swim are set, separate places for swimming for kids are equipped. Rescue posts equipped with special equipment and observation towers are being installed. The circumstances of accidents on the water are very different, but the reasons are the same: disregard for the rules of conduct and safety standards during recreation on the water. Including swimming in unfamiliar and forbidden places, long-distance swims and prolonged stay in the water leading to convulsions as a result of hypothermia, jumping from bridges, piers, etc.Accidents with children occur due to the inability to swim, swimming without adult supervision in dangerous waters and swimming to hypothermia.
