Overview and analytical information on the facts of natural and man-made emergencies that occurred on the territory of Astana city in eleven months of 2023
In eleven months of 2023, 821,890 calls were received at the control panel of the Unified Dispatch Service "112" (2022.– 560 086 ,+46,7%), in order to alert the population, 283 SMS messages were sent about the deterioration of weather conditions (2022 – 230, +23%).
Rescue units carried out 5,362 operational visits (2022 -5061, +5.9%) to carry out rescue and other urgent work, in which:
- -285 people were saved (2022 -554,-48.6%);
- 481 people were evacuated (2022 -142,+3.4p.);
- pre–medical care was provided - 86 people (2022 -40,+2.2rubles).
568 natural and man-made emergencies were registered in Astana (2022 -735, -22.7%), where 73 people were injured (2022 -249 -70.7%) and 21 people died (2022 -24,-12.5%).
According to the sources of occurrence, emergencies are divided into types:
- 549 industrial and household fires (2022 -717,-23.4%), 45 people were injured (2022 -38,+18.4%) and 14 people died (2022 -17,-17.6%);
- 1 case of an outbreak of a gas-air mixture (2022 -4,-75%), 3 people were injured (2022 -3);
- 4 accidents in life support systems (2022 -1,+4 p), no injuries;
-0 cases of building collapse (2022 -1,-100%), 0 people were injured (2022 -1,-100%), 0 people died (2022 -1,-100%);
- 2 cases of environmental pollution (2022-0,+100%), 0 people were injured (2022 -0), 0 people died (2022 -0);
- 1 case of poisoning of people (2022 -5,-80%), 15 people were injured ((2022 -196, -92.4%);
- 1 case of weather events (2022 -1), 0 people were injured (2022 -3, -100%);
- 1 earthquake (2022 -0,+100%), no injuries.
- 1 case of steppe fire (2022-1,+100%), no injuries (2022-1), no deaths (2022-0)
-2 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning by fire (2022-0,+100%), 3 injured (2022-0), no deaths (2022-0)
- 6 incidents on the waters (2022-5), -7 people were injured (2022-6,-17%), 7 people died (2022-6,-17%)
The objects of the occurrence of fires are:
- residential sector – 218 cases or 40.3% (2022 –341 or 49.1%);
- vehicles – 172 cases or 31.9% (2022 -146 or 21.1%);
- controlled facilities – 108 cases or 20% (2022 -139 or 22.8%);
- facilities under construction – 26 cases or 4.8% (2022 -31 or 4.5%);
- open areas – 16 cases or 3% (2022 -22 or 3.2%);
The causes of fires are:
-violation of the rules of installation and technical operation of electrical equipment -308 cases or 57% (2022 -348 or 50.3%);
-violation of fire safety rules during the installation and operation of heating furnaces – 59 cases or 10.2% (2022 -70 or 10.1%);
-careless handling of fire – 90 cases or 16.7% (2022 -164 or 23.7%);
- established arson – 11 cases or 2% (2022 -30 or 7.7%.);
