Overview and analytical information on the facts of natural and man-made emergencies that occurred on the territory of Astana for seven months of 2023
For seven months of 2023, 504056 calls were received to the remote control of the Unified Dispatch Service "112" (2022 – 390548,+30%), 171 SMS messages were sent to alert the population about the deterioration of weather conditions (2022 – 173, -1.2%).
Rescue units carried out 3,534 operational departures (2022-3081,+14.7%) for rescue and other urgent work, in which:
- saved -194 people (2022 -423,-54.1%);
- evacuated – 222 people. (2022-87,+2.6p.);
- pre–medical medical care was provided - 78 people (2022 -30,+2.6 rubles).
402 natural and man-made emergencies were registered in Astana (-434,-7.4% in 2022), where 49 people were injured (-218, -77.5% in 2022) and 9 people died (-18,-50% in 2022).
According to the sources of occurrence , emergencies are divided into types:
- 390 industrial and household fires (2022-422,-7.6%), 29 people were injured (2022-22,+31.8%) and 4 people died (2022-11,-63.6%);
- 0 cases of gas-air mixture outbreaks (2022 -2,-100%), 0 people were injured (2022 -1,-100%);
- 3 accidents in life support systems (2022-0,+100%), no injuries;

- 1 case of environmental pollution (2022-0,+100%), 0 people were injured (2022 -0), 0 people died (2022 -0);
- 1 case of poisoning of people (2022-3,-66.7%), 15 people were injured ((2022-185, -91.9%);
- 0 cases of weather events (2022 -1,-100%), 0 people were injured (2022 -3, -100%);
- 1 earthquake (2022-0,+100%), no injuries.

The causes of fires are:
- violation of the rules of installation and technical operation of electrical equipment -225 cases or 58% (2022-212 or 51.3%);
- violation of fire safety rules during the installation and operation of heating furnaces – 41 cases or 10.7% (2022-49 or 11.9%);
- careless handling of fire – 65 cases or 17% (2022 -85 or 20.6%);
- established arson – 4 cases or 2% (2022 -18 or 4.6%.);
- other reasons – 48 cases or 12.5% (2022 -49 or 11.7%).
