Overview information
on emergency situations of natural and man-made nature that occurred on the territory of the city of Astana for nine months of 2022
582 natural and man-made emergencies were registered on the territory of Astana (-541,+7.6% in 2021), of which 570 cases of man-made nature (-532,+7.1% in 2021) and 12 cases of natural nature (-9,+33.3% in 2021).
In emergency situations, 236 people were injured (2021 -34,+6.8), of which 216 people were hospitalized (2021 -16,+13.5p) and 20 people died (2021-18,+11.1%).
According to the sources of occurrence , emergencies are divided as follows:
- 567 fires (2021 -529,+7.2%), where 25 people were injured (2021-21, +19%), of which 13 people died (2021 -9, +44.4%).
- 3 man-made accidents (2021-3), where 4 (2021-4) people were injured, of which 1 (2021-0, +100%) people died.;
- 5 cases of poisoning of people (2021 -0, +100%), where 197 people were injured, of which there were no fatalities.
- 5 reports of incidents on the waters (2021 -9, -44.4%), where 6 people were injured (2021 -9, -33.3%), of which 6 people died (2021 -9, -33.3%).
- 1 case of a dangerous meteorological phenomenon (2021 -0,+100%), where 3 people were injured, of whom there were no fatalities;
-1 case of steppe fire (2021-0,+100%), 1 person was injured (2021-0,+100%), no deaths
The most common causes of fires include: violation of the rules of installation and technical operation of electrical equipment -50,8% (2021 -56,7%), careless handling of fire – 23,9% (2021 -15,1%), violation of fire safety rules during the installation and operation of heating furnaces - 9,7% (2021 -16,2%), violation of the rules fire safety during the operation of household appliances - 4.3% (2021-4%). All other causes of fires are - 1.2% (2021 -1.5%).
The main objects of fire occurrence are the residential sector -50% (2021 -42.9%), vehicles – 20.8% (2021 -30.3%), retail enterprises – 8.7% (2021 -8%), objects under construction – 4.3% (2021 -4.7%).
66 fires were registered at high–risk facilities (2021 -56, +17.8%), of which 33 high–rise residential buildings (2021 -31), manufacturing enterprises - 9 (2021 -7), administrative and public buildings – 8 (2021 -4), retail enterprises – 5 (2021-10), warehouse buildings – 3 (2021 -1), sports and entertainment institutions – 2 (2021 -1), cultural and entertainment – 2 (2021 -1), in addition, children's – 1, medical institutions – 1, educational facilities – 1, and saunas – 1 (2021 G.-2).
For nine months of 2022, 474130 calls were received from the population to the remote control of the Unified Dispatching Service "112" (2021 -508236,-6.7%).
Rescue units of the metropolitan garrison carried out 4155 operational departures (2021 -4186,-0.7%), during which 497 people were rescued (2021 -317,+57%), 94 people were evacuated (2021 -408,-4.3p), medical assistance was provided to 35 victims (2021 -48,-27.1%).
As part of the control and preventive activities, 652 individuals were brought to administrative responsibility (2021 -505,+29.1%), 261 of them were fined (2021 -191,+36.6%) in the amount of 15.7 million tenge (2021 -12.5 million tenge,+25.8%).
In the mass media, in order to inform the population, 1826 speeches were made (2021 -1651,+10.6%), 247 of them on television (2021 -156,+58.3%), 370 in print (2021 -283,+30.7%), on radio -180 (2021 -428,-57.9%), on news agency feeds -1029 (2021-784,+31.3%).
62275 (2021 -11752,+5.6p.) audio broadcasts were carried out on loudspeaker devices at facilities with a mass presence of people.
