Parents about the safety of children

With the increasing popularity of mass media, social networks and messengers, the dissemination of any information has become instant and popular these days. Within the framework of recent events concerning the safety of children, the importance of this issue has increased and continues to grow in proportion to the dissemination of information (events with trampolines, children falling out of the window). And as you know, any negative information can cause panic among parents and children. Fear for your child is the biggest fear of every parent! The responsibility for the child is primarily borne by the parent. Our task is to bring to every parent the primary and necessary rules for the safety of children.

Home alone: Safety precautions. Due to the employment of the adult population, many of us are forced to leave our children at home alone. This is certainly not the best thing we can offer them. However, it is the responsibility of every parent to instill the necessary knowledge in the child and to mark the boundaries of the necessary prohibitions. Before leaving the child alone, inspect the apartment: whether the wiring is working, whether the heating, plumbing is in order. Teach your child to use all household items not to harm themselves, but to benefit. Make sure that the child knows the emergency phone numbers (101/112, 102,103,104), his mobile phone, the phone of his parents. Be sure to learn the full address with your child. Forbid playing with matches and flammable liquids, electrical appliances, teach how to properly light the gas stove, or forbid using it until you arrive. When leaving home, even for half an hour, do not forget to hide matches and piercing-cutting objects. Close the windows before leaving, move all kinds of furniture away from the windows so that the child cannot climb on the windowsill. Explain to children about the danger of falling out of the window, forbid children to climb on window sills and that a mosquito net will not keep them from falling. Often, the mosquito net contributes to the tragedy, because the child feels safe behind it and leans both on the window and on it. Very often children fall out with these nets. Install blockers on the windows. Put special latches on the windows that will not allow the child to open the window by more than a few centimeters. If you do not have the opportunity to install fixing equipment right now, you can easily simply unscrew the bolts securing the handles with a screwdriver and remove them higher, using them as needed and immediately removing them after use. In general, since there is an inevitability to leave the child alone at home, organize his leisure, coloring books, pencils, necessary drawings, cartoons, etc. Try to call your child often.

Take care of the children! They are our future!
